Soundflower Obs
Soundflower is an open source kernel extension for MacOS, designed to create a virtual audio output device that can also act as an input.
Initial development and maintenance of Soundflower was done by Cycling '74. In 2014, Cycling '74 passed stewardship of Soundflower to Rogue Amoeba, but we ultimately didn't have the time or resources to improve the product.
Thankfully, at the end of 2015, Soundflower's original author Matt Ingalls picked up the baton. The project can now be found via this GitHub link. If you're looking to use Soundflower, that's the link to visit.

OBS; Instructions Soundflowerbed. Launch SoundFlowerbed; A status icon will appear in the top menu strip. Click it and tick the ‘Built-in output’ option under Soundflower (2ch) Also on the top menu strip, click the speaker icon and from the output device options select Soundflower (2ch) SuperCollider. Launch OBS and click on the + logo in the Sources column, then select Audio Input Source. In the window that opens, select Create new and name the input source. We have named it Soundflower in this instance. Tick the Make source visible box and click on OK. In the Device dropdown menu, select Soundflower (2ch) and press OK. It is great that you can capture the sound from outside sources as well as audio streams using the utility, but you have to download Soundflower from a reputable source and install it correctly.
